Working Principle of Hi Rib Mesh

When hi-rib mesh is used as permanent concrete formwork, it creates a sturdy base for continuous pouring. As the concrete is poured behind the formwork, the raised parts of the mesh openings become embedded in the concrete. This forms a mechanical wedge that connects to the adjacent pouring block, ensuring strong adhesion and shear resistance, thus guaranteeing high-quality joints.
In secondary concrete pouring, the need for drilling and furring can be eliminated, reducing construction time and enhancing the strength of the concrete. Once the concrete pouring is completed, there’s no need for dismantling. Simply move the support away, saving both time and labor while expediting the construction process.
