Introduction of Hi Rib Lath Expanded Metal
Hi rib lath, also known as rib lath or high ribbed lath, is a construction material used in building and construction projects, particularly for creating a base for plaster or stucco finishes on walls and ceilings. It is made from thin metal sheets, typically galvanized steel or stainless steel, and is characterized by its raised rib patterns.
Applications of High Ribbed Lath expanded metal lath metal rih lath
1. Concrete doors and roofs
2. Plaster and cement in the construction of buildings
3. Firewall construction
4. Permanent building external wallsa
5. Landscape sculpture
6. Slope protection, earth embankment engineering ,etc

Benefits Of high Ribbed Lath Expanded Metal Lath Metal Rih Lath
1. It is easy to cut and form the ornamental plaster work
2. It is commonly used for plaser machine application
3. It gives a uniform coat depth for large area
4. Ribbed metal lath have strong in bonding, shearing and other forming
5. Good mechanical peroformance
6. Light weight, easy to trasnport and install
7. There is a V type rid mesh in the middle making the expanded mesh more flexible .
Working Principle of Hi Rib Mesh
When hi-rib mesh is used as permanent concrete formwork, it creates a sturdy base for continuous pouring. As the concrete is poured behind the formwork, the raised parts of the mesh openings become embedded in the concrete. This forms a mechanical wedge that connects to the adjacent pouring block, ensuring strong adhesion and shear resistance, thus guaranteeing high-quality joints.
In secondary concrete pouring, the need for drilling and furring can be eliminated, reducing construction time and enhancing the strength of the concrete. Once the concrete pouring is completed, there’s no need for dismantling. Simply move the support away, saving both time and labor while expediting the construction process.
