Powder coated expanded metal
Powder coated expanded metal refers to a type of expanded metal mesh that has been coated with a layer of powdered paint or pigment and then cured through a heating process to create a durable and protective finish. This finish provides both functional and aesthetic benefits to the expanded metal. It is commonly used in various applications, including expanded metal window frames for its corrosion resistance and decorative metal fence designs, where the powder coating offers an array of color options and enhanced durability.
Coated expanded metal mesh is the most versatile and economical expansion metal mesh product. It is made from mild steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sheets or coils that are uniformly slit and stretched, forming a diamond pattern of openings. Various molds are used to create different patterns in expanded metal.
Our expanded metal sheets can also be sheared or formed to any specification. These excellent characteristics make the coated expanded metal mesh ideal for interior and exterior decoration, industrial, security guards, screens, ceilings, curtains, etc.

Production Procedures
Materials – stretching into diamond shape- Levelling- cutting- welding( if have frame)- powder coated painting.
We have strict quality control and inspection for each production step, just to make sure the perfect appearance after insllation.
Three Steps of PVDF Coating Of powder Coated Expanded Metal
- Pretreatment : This step mainly take acid cleaning, which will help to remove all the impurities and oil out before painting. we will clean twice and then dry them
- Color painted: After drying, our workers will hang the aluminium expanded metal mesh into our painting line, and then the automatic painting line start to work and paint the aluminium expanded metal mesh one by one. After painting, it will take drying process, around 15 minutes at 180 degree temperature.
- Third time coating: we will take a thid time coating after color painted to make sure the thickness of film.
After finish, The film thickness of PVDF should be over 60um, our inspector will take strict test to make sure the product qualified.
